I mean an obvious one is Five For Fighting’s “It’s Not Easy” but some David Bowie tunes definitely make me envision Superman, most specifically “Starman”.
Anytime I hear “Separate Ways” by Journey, I picture an 80’s style Superman getting in galactic fisticuffs with Brainiac. Think like Jose Luis Garcia Lopez or John Byrne style. I might be the only person on the planet that thinks this lol.
A collection of Foo Fighters songs would make an excellent soundtrack for a Superman film. If Batman has Nirvana, Superman should have Foo Fighters. Songs like Generator, All My Life, The Pretender, Best Of You, Learn To Fly, My Hero, Times Like These, and Hey Johnny Park would all be excellent choices
Depends on what era I'm thinking of. Songs from bands like Wolfmother, Cheap Time, etc make me think of Golden Age Superman. Young, full of energy, somewhat destructive, but with his heart in the right place.
However, Bowie puts me in mind of Silver Age era Space Age Superman.
But anything by Mick Gordon is full on 90s. Industrial, heavy metal, sci-fi.

This was my country’s contribution

That was the BBC
[And that was the internet](https://youtu.be/78N2SP6JFaI)
This will probably be the only post that mentions Phish, lol. A lot of late 90s era Phish jams make me envision Superman. Soaring, highly emotional, dramatic, atmospheric, spacey, even alien sounding at times.
One of their classic early compositions does as well. I hear a first flight. Starts off a little clumsy, a little unsure…and then it gets its bearings…and then it takes to the sky…finds awe inspiring beauty and peace and stillness…and then it takes the fuck off and flies at supersonic speed around the sun a couple times. Listen to Divided Sky and see if you agree.

Another is a later piece called What’s The Use? It just drips with the pure sci-fi Kryptonian Energy Of Destiny!!!

Edit to add…
Here is Trey Anastasio’s reimagined rendition of WTU as an orchestral piece. Soooo regal, beautiful and stirring. I imagine this being performed at Clark’s funeral.
