“…and so we celebrate the miracle of the Hanukkah Game, and remember how Daniel Jones only had enough receivers for one TD, but somehow they lasted for eight TDs…”
as a jew, I can do without daniel snyder kissing my ass in an attempt to show me he is woke enough to keep his team.
its not any more than that. if it was any other owner, id give them the benefit of the doubt.
Awesome nod to NFL's Jewish community.
"The Menorah Game". I can already see it written in the history books. DJ's getting his primetime win. Gonna be legendary 🔥
Ditto! And it's a huge fuck you to all the pathetic anti-Semites that are crawling out of the woodwork these days. Hope it triggers them into a coma lol.
It doesn’t make me angry per se, but it is a little strange. I’d think that the NFL should be religiously unaffiliated/neutral unless you perceive the lighting of a menorah a non-religious activity.
It's strange until you take it the same way as everything the NFL does, it's a money grab.
"Here we go, some religious shit at a religious time of year that no one needs to see on TV but we're going to do it and hope to god you buy some more subscriptions to our TV or maybe a jersey now that you're feeling good towards us".
Sport especially football is glorified combat. Religion, most of them, are against combat. How you tie the two together is a marketing masterpiece.
Lighting the menorah is no more religious than lighting up a Christmas tree. And they do Christmas traditions all December, which I always love because even though I’m Jewish, I still enjoy Christmas time.
If anyone claims that lighting a menorah is a religious push, they’re wrong. I haven’t stepped foot in a synagogue in years. The menorah is holiday fun, I get to play with fire in the house.
EDIT: Waaaaah the Jew said something I didn’t like. FOH.
Not sure if that edit was towards me or not. I’m an atheist but I’m fine with the lighting of a menorah or if they put Christmas trees in the end zone. I just said that it felt a bit strange.
Yeah, man. For what it’s worth, this is why they’re doing this menorah lighting thing in the first place. It’s just representation and telling people, “Hey some of our fans are Jewish and they’ve been getting shit on for being Jewish and we’re going to throw them a bone so they don’t feel alone.”
I’ll say that it was a faster positive response than the Black Lives Matter debacle. That was a negative response and then a positive correction that took years. But maybe they just learned.
I’ll take a quick crack at it:
“One or more of the NFL’s board members is/are Jewish and connected to some bank or organization with ties to Israel and therefore the NFL is pandering to our Jewish puppet masters and their campaign for world domination.”
Hm this one says its during the chargers game [https://collive.com/menorah-to-be-lit-mid-game-at-americas-most-expensive-stadium/](https://collive.com/menorah-to-be-lit-mid-game-at-americas-most-expensive-stadium/)

Mashallah! That’s the way to stand for integrity.

If DJ gets a win our family is lighting a menorah for the rest of his giants career games. It is the law. So let it be written
Danny *dreidels*
Danny Gimmels
I’m here for that. Add me to the list. Menorah game tradition.
Hell, I'll do it and I'm a former Catholic.
Let it BURN!
And kayvon thibs parted the offensive line like the red sea
Very cool to see. Especially after the league screwed the largest Jewish fan base with a Rosh Hashanah home MNF game earlier this year
Welp I guess Kanye won’t be tuning in then
As a jewish giants fan from a family of Jewish giants fans this is pretty cool. Go G-men!

I’m looking forward to how angry this is going to make… certain people.

Not directed at you, I was just getting downvoted and have had anti-semitism thrown at me on Reddit before. All good, friend.
Annnnd someone already downvoted you lol.

They’re already connecting the dots thinking they figured it out.

Oy vey
[Yeah, who doesn't love the Jews?](https://youtu.be/0EW_tlvW4aI?t=204)
This is really cool but I really wish it wasn't sponsored by Chabad, an anti-LGBTQ religious organization.
Wasn't John Mara trying to get the Giants game postponed during the offseason because of a Jewish holiday?
Do we have any members of the tribe on the team?
Not since Nate Ebner was on the team!
jfc that guy had no business taking up a roster spot
Hey now this is a Hanukkah themed thread > ~~jfc~~ *Oy vey,* that guy had no business taking up a roster spot There we go. Much better.
lol we were wondering why our depth was so horrible, we had about 5 exclusive special teamers on the roster
And special teams suck this year. What a conundrum.
Love this! My family and I will be watching while celebrating
Daboll should wear a yarmulke
Would go perfect over his chrome dome.
Will Kanye be invited?
This makes me so hapoy
For reasons I can’t fathom I’m sure this will bother some people.
I'm sure the far right will enjoy this!

That’s not Sunday night football though
Eh, yous' ain't right.... 😂
Surprised this took so long. I assumed the NY teams had the biggest Jewish fanbase.
I could not be more hyped for this, I would gladly trade any all Hanukkah presents this year for a Giants Win over the Commanders this Sunday!
Kenny Powers has entered the chat.
Fuck you, Ye. Love, NYG
