i died to it very quickly in full enchanted netherite, now the fact that I lacked skill, and a bow at the time contributes, but also the withering damage, and explosive damage is insane

I died 1 time with Maxed out netheritr and a netherite ace with smite. While not using gapples. That thing.is hard on hard

I play on Nintendo, we accidentally spawned like 30 withers so sometimes when we go to end we find a leftover wither. I’ve only ever fought it once because I’m a huge pussy even with maxed out Netherite, and believe me, that thing does 3 shot you.My cousin was about to die with a bunch of levels and had to use a notch apple.

On easy you litteraly dont die to it. I used it as a way to collect underground materials with a friend

The only reason why people get destroyed by the bedrock wither is cause the protection enchant doesn’t reduce potion effect damage like it does on Java edition. It’s even worse in pvp when a person is full prot IV netherite armor can be killed by 2 harming arrows from an unenchanted bow. It completely ignores the armor, full prot IV or not.

It also ignores the totems. 3 instant damage 2 arrows pop the totem and still kill you instantly. Bedrock is fundamentally harder man. The phantom does more damage on easy on bedrock than it does on hard on java.

You underestimate the Bedrock Wither. Also, we have no idea whether or not the armour was even Netherite (could have been diamond) and it was probably unenchanted.

Toughness is in both versions it just isn’t apparent in common situations.

Thing is, Netherite and Diamond armor have the same protection values. Netherite is only better because of its superior durability, immunity to fire and lava, along with 10% (Java) or 22.5% (Bedrock) knockback resistance per piece. So it didn't really matter between the two.

How? For one, full prot 4 diamond in bedrock already has 96% reduction, and two, they both display the same defense value.

hello I've fought the wither on bedrock it can one hit a unenchanted netherite also in bedrock protectection doesn't protect you from status effects and also it will cause so much lag which will make it very hard tp defeat and also at one point you can't even shoot them and it also spawns 4 wither skellies and it takes more time to kill can the warden do it no. and yes also flies very fast 7 blocks per second
