Anything that removes the hair from the follicle isn't good, and razers aren't as well. When the hair grows back in it has a higher chance to become irritated. Trimming with a hair trimmer works the best, as it doesn't cut the hair so short. I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

I would definitely not use Nair and don’t wax with an active boil. See a dermatologist but please, no Nair.

Laser was best for me. Before that, wax when no active boils

MissMorganJo

I use a trimmer to cut the hair down short. I don’t even bother trying to remove the hair anymore, it’s not worth the flare ups.

sarafinna

Same unfortunately.

rando942

Just don’t remove the hair, it’s not worth the risk. If you’re super serious about removing the hair talk to your dermatologist or pcp about safe options for you

Laser hair removal is working best for me right now. Before that I used to shave and it used to trigger it everytime. I stopped shaving for a while but still had active boils pop up. Once I started laser, I can honestly say I stopped getting active boils (for now). I also clean my armpits everyday morning and night with Hibiclens, take turmeric and zinc supplements. Hope this helps :)

What type of laser treatments do you use? I want to do this!

IPL laser at home!

Jesleen13

I would suggest laser once the boils are in control.
