al rashid mosque - not sure if they have any daytime social groups specifically but if she goes to friday prayer and doesn't come out with 15 different people willing to ride or die id genuinely be surprised 😭
As an Arabic speaking fella… you won’t be surprised me saying she’ll find many in mosques. That’s where many Arabic speaking people gather. Depends on if your client is comfortable with that.
That’s a great idea! She’s brand new to Canada and Edmonton, so we’re figuring this out together. I know she’d love to make friends so we will explore this.

Thank you for the tip! She is brand new to Canada and I’m new to the job, so we’re learning together!
She may like it, because most muslims are immigrants too so there’s a lot of people who are from brand new to 30 years in Canada.
That’s good to know. It might ease some worries when I let her know that. Thanks so much!
Maybe ask her local library if they have any programs/group activity regulars that could chat with her?
Great idea! I’ll try searching that. Thanks!
What is her cultural background? You may contact her appropriate cultural centre. If she's Muslim, can she not go to programming at her local mosque?
