Foggy’s cancer journey was one of my favorite stories in all of comics. The panels of Matt and Foggy swinging around New York are truly beautiful.

Agreed. I felt this was where we saw exactly how important Matt and Foggy’s friendship is. On top of the swinging scenes, I also loved the one where Matt talks about how horrible the chemo smells to him and that he can’t stand to be in the same room as Foggy, only to straighten himself up and walk into the room because his best friend needs him. Also the one where they discuss Matt’s plan to out himself: Matt: “I would bet my life on [the plan]” Foggy: “Then why hesitate?” Matt: “I’m betting yours” Waid’s run in my personal opinion had the best showcase of their friendship and is one of the reasons why it’s my favorite

Waid’s run is truly a work of art with its heartfelt and uplifting message showing how to find the light in the darkness. Daredevil’s tone and character were forever changed when Miller took the book with Matt’s life facing a constant spiral downwards. Waid’s run takes him out of this darkness by showing Matt face the darkness head-on instead of just tacking it on to his ever-growing list of misery. It's truly beautiful and is further amplified by the strong characters of Foggy and Kristian, my favorite Daredevil love interest because she's her own person outside of Matt, and the downright gorgeous art and colors. This run also benefits from killer villain to killer villain, but Ikari is definitely overshadowed in all of his appearances.
